The MinsterBelles are back on the road this weekend, for the final away game of the season, as they travel to Edgeley Park to take on Stockport County Ladies on Sunday afternoon (2pm kick-off).

Following the most recent league game against Norton & Stockton Ancients, Emily Senior’s side sit four points clear of the relegation places with just two games left to play.

The two sides last met back in November, when a Katie Astle double and goals from Emia Hendrickson-Eastwood and Ruby Shaw helped the MinsterBelles pick up a 4-3 win.

The Opposition:

Steve O’Hara’s side sit in 8th place in the FA Women’s National League Division One North, just four points above the MinsterBelles.

Their most recent league win came in March, when a double from Natalie Wilson alongside a goal from Jessica Brady helped them pick up a vital three points at home to AFC Fylde.

Brady is County’s top scorer, having found the net seven times this season.
