The MinsterBelles are making the journey North to the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday night (7:30pm kick-off) for the Styled Interior Design Women’s County Cup against Thornaby Women. It promises to be an exciting game and marks the final game of the season for both clubs.

Our run in the County Cup started in January with a comprehensive win on the road at T.I.B.S Women before beating Middlesbrough Women U23’s courtesy of goals from Dani Nanga, Faye Singleton, and Kelly Garcia. The Semi-Final saw us make the short journey to York RI, when goals from Ruby Gore, Faye Singleton, Nina Howell, and Elisha Hardcastle helped us reach the final. This will be our first outing in the Riverside Stadium, a world class venue which is home to Championship side Middlesbrough FC.

For Thornaby Women, they received an ‘Away Walkover’ in the second round of the competition before beating Richmond Town and our Development team on their way to the final.

We’re delighted to be welcoming grassroots players from a number of local girl’s teams including Bishopthorpe and Fulford to walk the Belles out at the Riverside Stadium.
