Supporter Information | York City vs Oldham Athletic

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early at the LNER Community Stadium on Tuesday (7.45pm kick off) with a sell-out crowd attending.

Tuesday is set to most highly anticipated game of football that the LNER has ever seen and with that it’s important to ensure that everybody has a safe, enjoyable experience. To achieve this, York City Football Club will work closely with York Stadium Management Company and North Yorkshire Police.

The Car Park has been open from early morning for those with a Monks Cross Park and Ride pass which has been purchased in advance. Vangarde shopping park will also have parking available on site for free.

Turnstiles will open from 6:15pm. We advise supporters to utilise the turnstile opening times as widely as possible to keep potential queuing to a minimum and ensure everybody is within the stadium for our pre-match build up.

To speed up queue times when entering the stadium, ensure you have your ticket / pass to hand as soon as you arrive at Monks Cross.

Please note for all supporters’ safety that searches, which will also involve the use of dogs, will be conducted. Amnesty bins will also be present before arriving at turnstiles.

Prohibited items (which may include pyrotechnics, drugs, and weapons) are never welcome at the LNER Community Stadium. Failure to utilise the Amnesty bins before heading to the turnstiles for any prohibited item will result in ejection.

Once within the LNER Community Stadium, please ensure you sit in your allocated which is displayed on your match ticket. This is for the safety of you and your fellow supporters. Guidance will be on hand on the ground to ensure supporters are supported in achieving this. A reminder that season tickets are not valid for this fixture.

We know the importance of this match to both clubs, with that we ask that the winning club’s supporters celebrate their victory in the stands and not on the pitch. This is for the safety of all supporters, photographers as well as the players.

We all look forward to welcoming you tonight. Keep our support loud, proud, and behind the white line in the stands, and continue to show your fantastic support like you have done all season!
