Defender Malachi Fagan-Walcott and midfielder Dan Batty have both earned spots in Team of the Weeks following their efforts in our late comeback against FC Halifax Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Minstermen looked set to be hit with their second defeat of the season heading into additional time, only for two late goals in the 90+1st and 90+6th minute to turn the tie around.
Midfielder Dan Batty swung in the late corner for our first goal, picking out Malachi Fagan-Walcott who hit in at the far post.
Batty was then part of the free kick routine in the 90+6th minute for the winner. A one-two exchanged with Alex Hunt concluded in dropping a dinked ball over to Callum Howe who headed back across the area for Ollie Pearce to head home unmarked.
