York City will be looking to cause an upset in the Emirates FA Cup this weekend when we make the journey to Oakwell for the first time in 10 years to face Barnsley FC, with kick-off at 3 pm.
City were held at FC Halifax Town last weekend, where a dominant performance could only see the Minstermen leave with a single point. Ollie Pearce was the man to score once more as his 85th-minute goal snatched the win off the Shaymen.
Barnsley, however, suffered defeat to local rivals Rotherham at Oakwell last weekend when a single Kian Spence goal was enough to ensure the Reds went five league games without a victory.
City hosted Barnsley in pre-season back in July, with the game finishing in a 2-2 draw. The last time these two sides came together in a competitive fixture was back in late 2015. Despite York taking the lead, it was Barnsley who took the win in the EFL Trophy.

The easiest and quickest way to purchase tickets is online. Your ticket will be emailed to your registered email address to print off at home or to be saved to your phone wallet, which can then be scanned at the turnstiles.
Any supporters who wish to purchase accessible seating with a personal assistant will need to contact the Box Office at Barnsley FC directly over the phone on 01226 211183. The opening hours for the box office are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am until 4pm.
Prices will increase by £2 on the day.

Train: The closest train station to the stadium is Barnsley station. However no trains will be running from York towards Barnsley. Supporters can make their way to Selby or Leeds to catch a train onwards.
