It’s a huge game at the top of the Enterprise National League this Wednesday as York City make the trip to Carlisle United (7:45pm kick-off).
City sit top of the table following a point at home to Southend at the weekend – Ollie Pearce scored late on once again to ensure Stuart Maynard’s men remained undefeated in 15 league matches.
Carlisle are level on points with the Minstermen, but goal difference has them third in the standings. They likewise failed to win on Saturday, forced to settle for a draw at Solihull, despite a hat-trick from Georgie Kelly.
This is our first trip to Brunton Park since 23rd January 2016 – it finished 1-1 on that day.
The reverse fixture earlier this season saw York run out 5-0 winners at the LNER Community Stadium.
