York City begin their Isuzu FA Trophy journey with a trip to Lancashire to face Clitheroe FC at the Loom Loft Stadium. (3:00 pm kick-off).
City last played a fortnight ago against Aldershot Town at the LNER when the Minstermen cruised to a 5-1 victory over the struggling National League side. That result ensured Maynard’s side extended the winning run to 6 games in the league.
Clitheroe themselves are unbeaten in 7 games, including an impressive victory over Chester in the last round of the FA Trophy.
They sit in 11th in their respective division.
