Match Preview | Dagenham & Redbridge vs York City

The Minstermen are back in action this Tuesday evening as they make the 430+ mile round-trip to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Just three days after a 2-2 draw against Solihull Moors, Neal Ardley’s side will look to go one better away at an out-of-form Daggers side.

Managed by Ben Strevens, the East London outfit have had a less-than-ideal start to the 2023/24 campaign, winning just three, and currently without a victory in their last six games.

However, they still rank three places above City in the National League, sitting in 17th, yet the Minstermen can leapfrog their next opponents with three points on Tuesday.

City will likely be without Alex Woodyard and Thierry Latty-Fairweather who both picked up injuries in Saturday’s match, while Maz Kouhyar could also be a doubt, after netting a late leveller for York at the weekend.

On the other hand, Ardley is hopeful that midfielder Dan Batty and winger Callum Harriott will be back in contention.
