York City will be looking to build on Wednesday’s impressive victory when they face Eastleigh FC at the Silverlake Stadium this Saturday (3:00 pm kick-off).
Maynard’s side thrashed Gateshead in mid-week at the LNER with three goals in the first 30 minutes from Stones, Felix and Hunt, as well as a 90th-minute goal from Pearce, enough to ensure City would be keeping the three points.
Eastleigh currently sit in 12th in the National League, 7 points off the play-off places.
They suffered a mid-week defeat to relegation-threatened Sutton United in South London last time out.
The last time these two sides faced each other was in the final game of last season. Goals from Ollie Pearce and Cam John sealed the win for City back in May.
