City kick off their pre-season run of games with a short trip to Garforth to face Garforth Town FC at the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
In the first of six pre-season games, Adam Hinshelwood’s side will hope to return to get off to a winning start this July.
Garforth, who finished 9th in the Northern Premier League Division One East last season, beat York 2-0 the last time the two teams met in pre-season of 2024, in which current City player Mo Fadera scored for the hosts.
York will look to get vital minutes into the legs of the players, as they prepare for another campaign in the Enterprise National League.
The match will be played at Bannister Prentice Community Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm. Tickets are available to purchase online and at the gate.
