York City’s pre-season campaign reaches its third fixture this weekend, with Grimsby Town visiting the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday, July 20th (3pm kick off).
Just a week earlier, the Minstermen kicked off their July schedule with a 2-1 defeat to Championship outfit Sheffield United, marking a return to YO32.
A short trip to the coast was what followed in midweek, when Whitby Town fell the wrong side of a 2-1 score line, thanks to a dominant second-half showing from City.

Tickets are available online via our Matchday Tickets page, in-person from the Ticket Office, and over the phone on 01904 950950.
Ticket pricing for the game will be:
- Adults: £12
- Concession (Over 65): £7
- Student (with valid student ID): £5
- Aged 12-16*: £5
- Aged 11 & under*: FREE
- Carers: FREE (when accompanying ticket holders with a disability)
The North Stand Ticket Booth will open from 1pm for both home and away supporters to purchase tickets on the day of the game.
*Supporters aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18+.

JACK RATCLIFFE FUNDRAISING
Well-known York City supporter Jack Ratcliffe has recently completed the Couch to 5K challenge, running his furthest ever distance on route to his school, Applefields.
17-year-old Jack, who not only achieved his target of accomplishing 5K, also began fundraising for new sports equipment at Applefields School with a goal of £100, however the current figure stands at more than an incredible £1,300!
Jack will be doing the 50/50 draw pitch side at half time.

Y22 BUS SERVICE
Long-standing club partner York Pullman will continue to operate supporter shuttle bus services between York city centre and the LNER Community Stadium for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Y22 will operate two hours before a match, at frequent intervals, from Stonebow in the city centre.

Pedestrian are a four-piece band based just outside of York, with their style ranging between funk, rock, ska, punk, and other weirdness!
