Match Preview | Maidenhead United (A) | Saturday 11th January

Saturday marks our second of three straight away fixtures, a trip to Maidenhead United in the Vanarama National League (3pm kick off).

It’s also our third game of 2025, having already won and lost one. We began the year with a 1-0 win over fellow promotion challengers Gateshead, before exiting the Isuzu FA Trophy with a defeat at Gainsborough Trinity last weekend.

Adam Hinshelwood’s side will be looking to respond emphatically down south this Saturday against a team who the Minstermen put six goals past just over a month ago.

But on unfamiliar turf at York Road, a different challenge awaits. Since the reverse fixture at the LNER Community Stadium, the Magpies have won just once against Wealdstone, and like City, will be aiming to start a new winning run.
