York City will be looking to get back to winning ways when they make the third journey down South in just over a week to face Maidenhead United at York Road Stadium (7:45pm kick off).

The Minstermen rescued a point late on against FC Halifax Town last time out when a Callum Howe header in the 100th minute was buried past Sam Johnson and into the net.

City still sit in 2nd in the National League following this result with Forest Green drawing and Barnet winning at Rochdale.

Tomorrow’s opponents Maidenhead sit just inside the relegation zone on goal difference. They have however started to pick up some form having won three out of their last six games, including a win at promotion chasing Oldham.

Both teams will be entering tomorrow night’s game fighting at the opposite ends of the table with very different achievements looking to be clinched.
