York City finish pre-season with a trip to Spennymoor Town’s The Brewery Field on Saturday, August 2nd (3pm kick 0ff).

The Minstermen’s final pre-season friendly fixtures comes seven days before the start of the 2024/25 Vanarama National League season away to Southend United on Saturday, August 10th.

TICKETS & TRAVEL

Tickets are on sale online and in-person.

Supporters can pay either cash or card at turnstile four on the day of the match.

There is no segregation for the game.

Parking: Some street parking available, and Spennymoor Town also has a deal with the nearby St Charles Primary School where free parking is on offer.

Train: The nearest railway station is six miles away, Durham railway station.

From there, Go North East X21 X-lines service operates every 30 minutes between Durham railway station and The Brewery Field in Spennymoor.

Bus: There is no supporter coach.

FOOD AND DRINK

With no segregation in place, supporters are welcome to use the Everflow Clubhouse before the game, where fans can enjoy a friendly atmosphere in the Neil Adams Sports Bar and the Players’ Lounge.

A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available in the Sports Bar, which will be served in plastic glasses to enable supporters to take them with you into the stands.

The Jason Ainsley Fan Zone – located at the far end of the Main Stand – is the place to go for hot and cold food and drinks, selling a wide range of  food such as pies, hotdogs, nachos and chips, as well as other snacks.
