York City play their first LNER Community Stadium home game of the 2024/25 Vanarama National League season on Saturday against Tamworth (3pm kick off).
Newly promoted Tamworth provide opposition in our home opener, in what is their first National League Premier division season since 2014.
Adam Hinshelwood’s side took a point in the season opener away to Southend United, as club captain Lenell John-Lewis netted an 85th minute equaliser.
MINUTE’S APPLAUSE FOR ALAN LITTLE
York City will hold a minute’s applause to show respect following the passing of former manager Alan Little.
The thoughts of everyone at York City Football Club remain with Alan’s family and friends at this sad time.
We look forward to welcoming Alan’s family for the game. We’re sure the minute’s applause will be incredibly powerful.
