Match Preview | Woking (A) | Monday 25th August

After a weekend away from match action, City are straight back to it on Bank Holiday Monday with a journey south to Woking (3pm kick-off).

We approach our fourth game unbeaten so far, having recorded back-to-back clean sheets on the road, picking up four points along the way.

Our last time out saw a Wednesday night clash at Southend end in a goalless draw, albeit an entertaining one.

24 hours earlier, Woking had fallen victim to a late Wealdstone winner on home soil, their third consecutive defeat.

Still yet to tally a single point this season, Neal Ardley’s Cards travel to Hartlepool United on Saturday, before taking on the Minstermen two days later.

Our last trip to the Laithwaite Community Stadium resulted in a 1-1 draw, Lenell John-Lewis scoring from the spot to earn us a point in 2024/25.
