Match Preview | York City vs Kidderminster Harriers

The Minstermen kick-start their home league campaign this coming weekend when we welcome Kidderminster Harriers to the LNER Community Stadium.

Mikey Morton’s side will look to bounce back from defeat last weekend in their National League opener, as they fell to a late 2-1 defeat to Wealdstone at Grosvenor Vale.

Newly-promoted Kidderminster got off to a decent start last weekend on their return to the National League after a nine-year absence, where they went on to secure a point at home to last season’s playoff hopefuls Woking.

Managed by former York City captain Russell Penn, the Harriers travel up to North Yorkshire looking to carry on their unbeaten start to the season with a squad which also contains former York striker Amari Morgan-Smith.

This weekend’s game will be the first of two successive home games for the Minstermen in the space of four days, ahead of Tuesday evening’s game against Altrincham.

York City vs Kidderminster Harriers will be played on Saturday 12th August, kicking off at 3pm. Here is all the information you need to know ahead of the bank holiday fixture.

Y22 Bus Service

The Y22 Shuttle Bus service, kindly organised by York City Supporters Trust and First York, will be running for this fixture.

  • Adult return: £3.50
  • Child/Concessionary return: £2
  • Adult single: £2
  • Child/Concessionary single: £1

No other tickets will be valid on the service.
