The Minstermen search for a return to winning ways this Saturday as we welcome Dagenham and Redbridge to the LNER Community Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Off the back of a deflating defeat at home to Dorking in midweek, Neal Ardley and the team will be keen to make these next two home games count, starting at the weekend.
A win for City would see us move level on points with the Daggers, and also lift away from the relegation zone, which looms just three points below.
Ben Strevens’ side make the trip to North Yorkshire following last weekend’s 7-1 thrashing of Oxford City, so morale will be high in the visiting camp.

The Y22 Shuttle Bus service, organised by York City Supporters Trust and First York, will be running.
The Y22 operates from two hours before kick-off and after the game until the ground is clear, up to 90 minutes after the full-time whistle. This increases the frequency of buses running between Stonebow in the City Centre and the Monks Cross Park & Ride stop, as well as freeing up capacity on the existing number 9 route.
Fans wishing to use the service will need to purchase Y22 tickets from the First Bus app, which are priced at:
- Adult return: £3.50
- Child/Concessionary return: £2
- Adult single: £2
- Child/Concessionary single: £1
No other tickets are valid on the service.
