The Minstermen will hope to bounce back to winning ways this coming Saturday when we take on Solihull Moors at the LNER Community Stadium.
The game will see York manager Neal Ardley go up against his former club this weekend, who will hope the Minstermen can secure all three points following on from Tuesday night’s home defeat to Barnet.
Currently sat in second place in the Vanarama National League table, Solihull Moors travel up to North Yorkshire hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the new season to thirteen games.
Seven wins and five draws from their opening twelve games sees The Moors sit comfortable in the top three, but they currently trail league leaders Chesterfield by five points.
York City vs Solihull Moors will be played on Saturday 30th September, kicking off at 3pm. Here is all the information you need to know ahead of Saturday’s fixture.

Previous Meetings
The most recent meeting between the two sides most recently as February, which ended in a 3-2 win for Solihull Moors last season here at the LNER Community Stadium. The goals that night for the Minstermen were scored by Shaq Forde and Olly Dyson.
Earlier last season, the two sides also met in front of the TNT Sports cameras at the ARMCO Arena. After Solihull went ahead early on in the second half through Alex Reid’s opener, the Minstermen came back to earn a point through Lenell John-Lewis’ leveller.
The last time the Minstermen secured three points against this weekend’s opponents came in a 2-1 win away from home in April 2017, with Vadaine Oliver netting a brace that day which helped the Minstermen on their way to victory.
