York City made it a complete week with a comfortable victory over Wealdstone FC at the LNER Community Stadium this afternoon.

In the first few seconds of the game, a chance for York was created however Gunter caught the ball before it could enter the net.

Possession stayed with York and in the 4th minute of the game another chance came from a corner. Hunt kicked the ball to Fallowfield who headed it into the goalkeepers hands.

A free-kick by Hunt was later headed by Crookes but unfortunately landed into the goalkeepers arms.

In the 19th minute a long range effort from Sinclair was saved by the keeper.

The 41st minute brought a throw in close to the target which gave Richardson a shot that Gunter caught.

As chances kept arriving but not being fulfilled, York received a corner which Malachi Fagan-Walcott scored with the assistance of Callum Howe. A good end to the first half.

York started the second half how they ended the first with Sinclair having two shots in the first few minutes.

In the 55th minute Sinclair ran through on goal with a keeper just to beat but his effort was easily saved.

After a triple substitution York was still playing well, a through ball to Luamba who squared it to Josh Stones for an easy tap in and a 2-0 lead in the 65th minute.

A minute later, Luamba was pulled down in the box which lead to a York penalty and a third goal scored by Ollie Pearce with a clinical strike into the top corner.

75th minute and the ball was in the back of the net again by Ollie Pearce but after a minute of the ref deliberating with the linesmen it was disallowed for a handball.

Another great chance in the 88th minute, Pearce clean through on goal but his shot hit the side netting.

As an incredible match with many opportunities and three amazing goal, it was announced that Ollie Pearce was the player of the match.
