Midfielder Quevin Castro joins King’s Lynn Town on loan

York City can confirm midfielder Quevin Castro has gone out on loan to Vanarama National League North side King’s Lynn Town on an initial one-month loan.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder joined City in the summer and has made 12 appearances across all competitions so far, also netting one goal against Boreham Wood in September last year.

The Linnets currently find themselves at the wrong end of the Vanarama National League North table following last season’s second-place finish.

Former Curzon Ashton manager Adam Lakeland stepped in at the end of September to guide the side who currently sit fourth bottom.

Castro could make his King’s Lynn debut away from home on Saturday, January 20th when the side take on play-off chasing Hereford on the road.

Subject to league and FA approval.
