National League 2025/26 lineup confirmed

The National League lineup for 2025/26 has been confirmed, with all 24 clubs now known.
Oldham Athletic’s Promotion Final victory over Southend United means they join Barnet in the EFL next season.
Dropping down from League Two are Carlisle United and Morecambe – it will be the first time we have faced either club since 2016.
Ebbsfleet United, AFC Fylde, Maidenhead United, and Dagenham & Redbridge all finished within the relegation zone last season, and will be replaced by four new clubs.
Brackley Town were crowned National League North champions on the final day and will play fifth tier football for the first time – it’s been three years since we last met the Saints in the play-off semi-final.
Scunthorpe United came out on top against Chester in the Promotion Final, returning to this division after a couple of seasons away.
In the National League South, a dramatic title race culminated in John Askey’s Truro City ending the campaign top, as they now prepare for a debut in the National League. We have never played the Tinners in a competitive fixture before.
Boreham Wood bounced back from relegation at the first time of asking, completing the 2025/26 lineup.
