York City FC are delighted to announce that, through a partnership with Plus Fan a new club app is being released. The app will enable fans to follow the club around the world via live score notifications, priority access to select media footage, exclusive YCFC retail offers, prize draws and competitions, discounts with our club partners and much more.
Fan engagement is vital for any football club and here at York City FC we want to ensure we continue to develop the partnership we have with all of our fans, those that are just joining us on the club’s journey here at the LNER or those fans who’ve transitioned with us from Bootham Crescent, EVERY single fan plays their part in the club’s success.
Many supporters at the end of last season requested an alternative way to keep up to date with everything YCFC related without the need of an X account. Plus Fan will now allow all supporters to follow the Minstermen without the need for an active social media profile.
Now for the good part…..All current season ticket holders will receive a three-month free trial of the app later this week (all emails will be sent to those email addresses attached directly to the customer’s order).
Speaking on its launch, co-chair Julie-Anne Uggla said, “Being able to reach out to and engage with our fans in as many ways as possible is vital, the creation of the new Plus Fan app will enable fans around the world to engage with different forms of content, seeing the club in a different light from all angles. It will also highlight the partnerships we have and how we work together to drive success in the community through discounts, polls, articles and more”
