U19s defender Oz Shaw has signed dual-registration terms with Pickering Town.
The 17-year-old links up with new Pikes boss Simon Heslop, who will be best known to City fans for captaining the Minstermen to FA Trophy glory in 2017.
Heslop scored on debut as player-manager on Saturday, with Shaw also impressing in his first game, and was awarded man of the match to show for it.
The second-year had not scored a goal for York City U19s until a few weeks ago, when he hit a brace during a win over South Shields, and he has been almost ever-present this season.
Pickering Town are currently 8th in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, and next play away at Knaresborough Town this Friday (8pm kick-off).
Good luck, Oz!
Subject to league and FA approval.
