Pop Stand Clock Relocates Within LNER Community Stadium

The Popular Stand Clock has relocated in the LNER Community Stadium, now proudly on display above the South Stand concourse.

As supporters enter turnstiles 1-6, the Popular Stand Clock should now be noticeable above the South Stand concourse.

A re-design has also taken place surrounding the Popular Stand Clock, with a fresh design installed by CeeJays and approved by the Dearlove family.

Speaking, CeeJays said: “CeeJay UK Ltd, a York based family business, have worked with York City Football Club for over 35 years and we are now very happy to be able to further support the club as the new season Added Time sponsors.

“Over the years we have been involved with various projects at Bootham Crescent and now the LNER Community Stadium, but it has been a privilege to be involved in the design and manufacturing of the new clock, working closely with the Dearlove family on a poignant project produced in the memory of Phil Dearlove.

“We look forward to a strong season ahead for York City Football Club.”

The Dearlove family were fully consulted on the idea of the redesign, choosing the final version which is now in place.

Speaking, they said: “When our family were contacted by the club, and the suggestion was made that the clock could be remounted on a new background and put up in the ground in a new place, our family were thrilled.

“The club has involved us in all the decisions throughout the process, including choosing the design and where the clock should go.

“The clock means so much to our family, and the fans, and we are extremely grateful to the club for acknowledging this.

“Phil would be very proud.”
