We have looked through all responses to our Rochdale ticketing information and have provided supporters with responses to all the FAQs
“Why aren’t the tickets on sale online?”
Unfortunately, with this game being an away game, it would be impossible to monitor online sales to just season ticket holders. Would it have been possible to sell online? Yes. Would it have been possible to only sell to just season ticket holders online? Unfortunately not. We want to make sure our season ticket holders have the utmost priority to purchase first.
“Why haven’t we got more tickets?”
The Willbuts Stand at Rochdale has been set at a reduced capacity all season, and has not been done specifically for this game to limit sales to just York City. This has been the case for all games at Rochdale this season.
“Why aren’t tickets on sale earlier than 8am?”
Staff will be at the LNER Community Stadium from 7am to set up and have everything ready. Therefore it would be extremely hard to get tickets on sale any earlier with the stadium officially opening at 6:30am.
“If I can’t get a ticket and the game ends up being with everything on the line, will the club be putting on a big screen?”
We have held discussions to put on a big screen showing in York. However this will only happen should the title go down to this game. The showing will be communicated two weeks prior to the scheduled game.
“How many tickets can I physically purchase?”
Each season ticket allows one ticket purchase.
“Can I purchase for other people?”
Yes you can, however you will require their season ticket information to be able to purchase for other people. However we do ask supporters to show curtesy of fellow supporters when doing this.
“How many accessible tickets are there?”
We have 16 wheelchair spaces which are accompanied by a single seat for personal assistance to the side of them. These are all in the Willbuts Stand (away). Wheelchair users in the queue tomorrow will be approached by staff to be invited into the club store to purchase.
“If I’m buying in person, where can I park?”
You can use any available parking nearby to the ground but please familiarise yourself with the Vanguard parking regulations.
