DURING THE GAME
We need YOU!
To progress to the next round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup we need you to be loud, proud and cheer on the Minster Belles to victory throughout the game! An exciting, family-friendly atmosphere, making memories in the stands and helping the team secure the win.
At the start of the game, fans will be also asked to hold up equal signs in support of the Equal FA Cup Campaign. As part of a collective of women’s clubs, the Adobe FA Cup celebrates everything women’s clubs have built together, but it’s also a stark reminder of how far we still have to go.
The winners of the women’s FA Cup First Round ties will win £6,000. In the men’s competition, the equivalent prize is £45,000 – and that gulf continues all the way to the final.
Since 2019, Lewes FC has been campaigning for Equal FA Cup prize money, not just for fairness, but because this single change could transform the women’s game and create a healthier, more sustainable football ecosystem.
This is about more than money. It’s about building a future for women’s football that is sustainable, ambitious and equitable.
AFTER THE GAME
After the game, all fans are encouraged to make their way towards the players’ exit at the bottom of the stand and take advantage of autograph opportunities as well as capturing photographs with all of the players, tagging our social media accounts in all of your captured moments from across the day!
