York City FC are delighted to announce the capture of 19-year-old midfielder Zanda Siziba from Yeovil Town.
After developing in the youth system at Dagenham and Redbridge, he was picked up by Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
Siziba finished his development with Ipswich Town and signed his first professional contract in 2021, going on to make his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy.
After making six appearances for the Tractor Boys over the course of three years, he joined Yeovil Town in March 2023. He managed to make a big impression during his short spell with the Glovers, making six appearances and scoring one goal.
Playing primarily as a winger, Siziba can also operate centrally, building play from deeper.
On signing for the Minstermen, Siziba said: “I’m just really excited to be here.
“I’m a fast, tricky, kind of skilful winger. I can do a job in midfield as well. I like to take on my man and score a few goals.
“I can’t wait to get started and show the fans what I can do.”
The deal is subject to National League and FA Approval.
