Forward Will Davies has joined Vanarama National League side Bromley on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old joined the Minstermen on a long-term deal in November 2023 after making an impressive start to the season with Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town, netting eight goals in fifteen appearances.
A switch to York has seen the forward play 20 times so far in the Vanarama National League, with an appearance in the Isuzu FA Trophy too.
Davies netted his first goal for the Minstermen against Oxford City, in what was his first starting appearance at the LNER Community Stadium, picking up the Waitrose Man of the Match award that night.
Other goals, which have picked up points for City, have followed for the forward too against Gateshead, Oxford City, Maidenhead United and Oldham Athletic.
The Ravens lost no ground on their road to secure a semi-final play off spot after defeat to City on Saturday, but did lose ground on second place Barnet who now sit four points above them.
With four points over Gateshead in fourth, Andy Woodman’s side will look to give chase all the way until the regular season closes, as well as consolidate their spot above fourth.
Big ties are still to follow for them however with Barnet, Solihull, and Gateshead all still to come in the league.
A debut could come for Davies tomorrow afternoon when Bromley travel away to face Dorking Wanderers on Good Friday (3pm kick off).
Subject to league and FA approval.
