York City 2024/25 Home and Away Attendance Figures

With our regular league campaign closed for 2024/25, we take a look at some of the attendance numbers throughout the season.

A gate of 6,249 for our final home game of the season pushed our average attendance figure over 6,000 for the first time in over 50 years, beating last year’s figure of 4,857.

Across the campaign, a grand total of 139,167 fans passed through the LNER Community Stadium turnstiles – we only broke through the 100,000 mark for the first time in 30 years in 2023, and have continued to build on that since.

Our highest home crowd saw 7,918 people attend our Easter Monday score-draw with Oldham Athletic, also a club record at our current home.

We came close to that earlier in the season too, drawing in over 7,500 against both Gateshead and Hartlepool United.

In terms of the away figures, a combined number of 16,142 supporters have backed us on the road, a simply sensational amount across 23 league games.

Our 2024/25 away-from-home average stands at 702, with some memorable moments witnessed along the way.

Of course, there’s no doubt that the number of City fans who travelled to the Shay Stadium back in October is the highest of the season – 2,225 saw the Minstermen score two dramatic injury-time goals to complete an incredible comeback at Halifax.

We took over 1,000 fans to the likes of Oldham, AFC Fylde, and Gateshead, and quite incredibly, 1,185 made the journey to Barnet on a Tuesday night.

We would like to thank every single supporter who has been part of this brilliant season so far, your backing certainly does not go unnoticed.
