York City unveiled their Hummel third shirt when walking out against Sheffield United at the LNER Community Stadium on the first game of pre-season.
The new three-year partnership sees Hummel provide all on-field playing kit and training gear for every YCFC team. Hummel, who celebrated their centenary last year, are a brand aligned with the club ethos of quality and community, and we welcome them to the city.
Hummel’s ECO8 implementation means each shirt is manufactured from high-performing polyester produced from up to eight recycled plastic bottles.
The shirt immediately hit retail following the game, with supporters able to snap up the replica shirt to in-store straight after seeing it.
