This Saturday’s fixture at home to Sutton United will be our dedicated Charity Partner Fixture for York Mind.
If you have not already heard of them, York Mind is your local mental health charity that supports the people of York who are experiencing mental health challenges.
At least 1 in 4 people in York currently struggle with their mental health. They want to give a voice to those of us who don’t feel that it’s okay to speak about what you’re going through.
If you would like to access counselling for yourself, you may qualify for counselling support through their Adult 1-2-1 service at York Mind. These are usually held weekly, either in-person at their premises at Highcliffe House (YO30 6BP), or online.
In recent years, many of you may have faced mental health conditions for the first time or seen loved one’s struggle. Your friends, families, colleagues, and customers all have mental health that matters.
With support from partners like York City Football Club, York Mind can continue its critical work supporting recovery and resilience. Together, they can support people in their communities.
If you would like to find out more about the services that they provide in York visit www.yorkmind.org.uk.
