Match Preview | Oldham Athletic (H) | Monday 21st April

A sell-out crowd at the LNER Community Stadium awaits the visit of Oldham Athletic this bank holiday Monday! (3pm kick-off).

City made it five wins in a row on Friday with a 3-1 win away to Gateshead. Despite going a goal down Ashley Nathaniel-George clawed the Minstermen level just before half-time. The game remained level until the 74th minute when Junior Luamba grabbed the second. Malachi Fagan-Walcott got the third and final goal with a shot from inside the box.

York have closed the gap to Barnet to four points following their draw against Eastleigh the same afternoon.

Oldham claimed a narrow victory over Hartlepool United on Friday afternoon, this despite going a goal down in the first half.

This result leaves them in 4th in the Vanarama National League, further ensuring their place in the play-offs this season.
