Match Preview | Scunthorpe United (H) | Wednesday 1st October

City can make it three unbeaten this Wednesday when they host Scunthorpe United at the LNER Community Stadium with kick-off at 7:45 pm.

Ollie Pearce grabbed another goal on Saturday as Forest Green and York played out a score 1-1 draw at the New Lawn.

Scunthorpe, who achieved promotion from the National North last season, sit 5th in the table, just one place above city.

Along with Forest Green, they remain the only other unbeaten side in the league with six wins and four draws.

Our last game against United came in March 2023 when both teams settled for a goalless draw at the LNER.
