We are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Hunt.
Jack began his career at Huddersfield Town, where he also played out the first years of his senior career. A permanent move to Crystal Palace followed, where he enjoyed loan spells at Barnsley, Nottingham Forest, and Rotherham before a successful loan to Sheffield Wednesday, which nearly saw the Owls promoted to the Premier League, earned him a permanent transfer to the South Yorkshire club.
The versatile player went on to feature nearly 100 times for Wednesday before making the switch to Bristol City in 2018. Playing over 100 times for the Robins before making a return to Sheffield Wednesday, playing his part in the club’s promotion back to the Championship.
Stints at Bristol Rovers and Stockport followed before a move to Wigan Athletic in January. Hunt now joins up with the Minstermen for the 2026/27 season, adding a wealth of experience to the squad.
