York City return to the LNER Community Stadium with back-to-back home fixtures this week, firstly taking on Braintree this Tuesday night (7.45pm kick off).
Adam Hinshelwood’s side look to make further amends following our last home fixture the Bank Holiday Monday loss to Boston.
Back-to-back away victories far south in London have done that so far, but it’s home fixtures where The Minstermen need to reiterate their standards.
Braintree Town come in to the fixture five unbeaten, winning only one during that spell however.
MINUTE’S SILENCE IN MEMORY OF DAVID LONGHURST
September 8th marked 34 years since we tragically lost David Longhurst during a Fourth Division match at home to Lincoln City.
Please join us as we continue to honour his memory with a minute’s silence before kick-off.
