York City return to Vanarama National League action at home this Saturday against Ebbsfleet United (3pm kick off).

After winning 3-1 in Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round action against Biggleswade FC, The Minstermen begin the first game of three big games in seven days on Saturday.

Visitors Ebbsfleet United sit rooted to the foot of the Vanarama National League standings after 13 games, winning just one game so far against Hartlepool United.

Harry Watling’s side were also dumped out of the Emirates FA Cup at the first hurdle, falling to a 3-0 defeat away to Maidstone last Saturday.

After Dennis Kutrieb departed in September, Watling was swiftly appointed First Team Manager by The Fleets.

The 34-year-old manager earned his UEFA B licence at age 18, UEFA A licence at 26, and his UEFA Pro licence at 33, which at the time made him one of the youngest coaches in England to have such coaching licences.

Before joining the visitors, Watling’s most recent experience come as as First Team Coach in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers, and Championship side QPR before that.

Vagabond came together in 2023 when three 15-year-olds decided to start something loud and different.

What began as jam sessions quickly turned into a band with a mission: to bring back the raw, unfiltered sound of punk rock.

With influences ranging from classic punk legends to modern indie sounds, they’ve spent hours crafting original songs and have played at places such as the York Vaults.

Vagabond are working hard to make their mark on the local music scene – this is just their beginning.
