Match Preview | Forest Green Rovers (H) | Saturday 8th March

We return back to the LNER Community Stadium tomorrow afternoon for the second time this week as we host Forest Green Rovers with the game live on DAZN (5:30pm kick off).

The Minstermen suffered defeat in mid-week to the hands of Altrincham FC when an unfortunate couple of goals ensured City would be taking no points from the game.

Despite this City still sit in 2nd in the Vanarama National League, still ahead of tomorrow’s opponents in Forest Green Rovers who also lost in mid-week to FC Halifax Town at the Shay.

Forest Green sit three points behind The Minstermen, should Barnet drop points in the early kick-off, Forest Green may see this game as an opportunity to claw their way back into the title race.

The last time these two sides met earlier on this season, it was Forest Green who claimed a 2-0 win at the New Lawn.
