Match Preview | Hartlepool United (H) | Wednesday 11th February

For the second time in five days, York City are in action at the LNER Community Stadium, hosting Hartlepool United under the lights on Wednesday night (7:45pm kick-off).

The Minstermen are currently 19 games unbeaten in the league, with the latest one being a 2-1 win against Forest Green Rovers.

Alex Hunt put us ahead from the spot early on before Ollie Pearce doubled the lead just before the break. The visitors pulled one back in the second half but City were able to hold on for three points.

Hartlepool, who are 9th in the table, drew 1-1 at Tamworth on Saturday. They went ahead in the 58th minute, then the Lambs pegged them back moments later.

The last time we faced the Pools was the reverse fixture back in October when Alex Newby and Ben Brookes netted in a 2-1 victory.
