The Minstermen travel across the Pennines this Boxing Day to take on Oldham Athletic in a Vanarama National League clash chosen for enhanced coverage by DAZN (5:30pm kick off).
City head into the Christmas festivities, and will begin Boxing Day sitting top of the tree, following Saturday’s impressive 3-0 win at home to Southend United.
All three goals came from corners on the right-hand side, with Dipo Akinyemi, Callum Howe, and David Ajiboye getting on the scoresheet to seal a final home win of the year for us.
Now the task is to cap off the year with an away win, against a side sitting just five points behind the Minstermen. The Latics come into this one off the back of a fourth straight league win, having comfortably beaten Braintree 2-0 at the weekend.
