Match Preview | Salford City (H) | Friday 11th July

Adam Hinshelwood’s side welcome Salford City to the LNER for City’s first home outing of pre-season on Friday, 11th July.

In the first of three home friendlies, the Minstermen will face Karl Robinson’s League Two outfit for the two teams’ first meeting since 2018.

Salford finished three points off the playoffs last season, so they will be looking to make a positive start to the 25/26 campaign and will provide a tough test for Hinshelwood’s side.

In the last meeting between these two sides, it was a sole Aidan Connolly goal that bagged the win for the Minstermen at Bootham Crescent.

Kick-off is at 7pm. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the stadium.
