Match Preview | Woking (H) | Saturday 8th February

We are back for our second home game in a row at the LNER Community Stadium this Saturday as we host Woking FC in the Vanarama National League (3pm kick off).

The Minstermen bagged all three points last time out against Dagenham & Redbridge at the LNER. A first half goal from Tyrese Sinclair nodded the Minstermen in front on the stroke of half-time. Josh Umerah headed in from a corner just minutes into the second half. In the dying seconds of the game, York were handed a spot kick. Alex Hunt stepped up to slot the ball home.

Our opponents Woking are currently placed in 17th, 4 points above the drop zone and 11 points off the play-off places.

The last time these two sides met was back in October when both sides played out a score draw in Surrey. Dan Moss got the opener for the hosts in the 55th minute before Lenell John-Lewis secured a point for City with 5 minutes to go.
